Born in Italy, Ernesto Lechthaler calls himself a “German by day and an Italian by night”. After an extensive training in the hospitality industry, he developed this passion into designing interiors and contemporary furniture pieces for these spaces. Lechthaler now works with prestigious international architects and interior designers to develop and remodel bar, lounge and cafe concepts.

Lechthaler is known for designing flexible and functional seat and table combinations such as the In&Out Armchair and Element Table for Varaschin. Inspired by the philosophy: “design follows function” Lechthaler develops, based on his know-how and industry experience, products which are practical and functional in the catering area as well as at home.
