Product Description
The Curio installation is inspired by 18th century curio cabinets that are brimming with shelves of strange and otherworldly collections. Curio challenges our perception of the natural world and the idea of beauty. By stripping these objects and forms from their natural covering, colour and texture, or even our mere perception of it, is still wonderful. In this installation, various objects from aquatic, avian, mammalian and insect worlds are formed by hand from the wire mesh and lit from below by LED lights.
